The low-profile footboard offers several benefits, including allowing the foot of the bed to be a place where you can easily sit and chat with your daughter about the struggles of her day or maybe share a laugh or two. The slat roll foundation can accommodate any mattress or mattress system and works well with the included Nantucket Trundle. The internal bracket and bolt system keeps unsightly bolt heads hidden without compromising safety or strength.
