We added 5 inches to our classic bunk for more head room but made sure it still fits average height ceilings and is safe enough for young children. The result = Maxtrix’s super functional twin Medium bunk bed with stairs and a pull out trundle bed to comfortably sleep three.

A staircase makes it easy for kids to climb up top and comfortable for parents as well - helpful at story time or when changing sheets. Each step has a deep drawer, providing built in storage to help keep your child’s room tidy.

Convert as your needs change - easily separate into individual twin beds, convert them into lofts, or swap the staircase for a ladder. In need of more storage? Remove the trundle mattress and add our trundle drawer kit for extra, hidden, space .

For optimal safety, a low profile 5” mattress is recommended to maximize the safety rail height on the top bunk and ensure ample headroom on the bottom bunk. Mattress purchased separately.
